Yeah… Just gotten a new Laptop =) now i can blog again!

After browsing through so many brand and model of laptops (ASUS, TOSHIBA, SAMSUNG, LENOVO etc), I've finally decided to get a Macbook.

Dear have always wanted to get a MacBook Air because his Macbook Pro is too heavy to carry around. But his Macbook pro is still quite new, he have been holding back his purchase. So i decided to use his Macbook pro and he can go get his Macbook Air =) *one stone kill 2 bird :)

Currently i'm still trying to get used to using Mac as i've always used windows. Hopefully I can master the basics soon.

Ok enough of my laptop thingy, lets move to the main topic =)

Impromptu dinner with my sis & bro-in-law at Tamarind Hill.

Its our 1st time there because the place is quite "Wulu" i.e. not very accessible, if you are not travelling by car or cab.

my bro-in-law wanted to try the food there as he heard from his friends that the thai cuisines there were tasty. so we decided to give it a try.

It is sort of a fine dinning restaurant with a few nostalgic decorations.

Dear & I was serve with a glass of sweet water (i really have no idea what is that drink) while waiting for my sis n bro-in-law to come.

Actually we aren't allowed to wear slippers or bring a baby into the restaurant, but the waitress (perhaps their manager) were kind enough to allow us in to have our dinner at their outdoor area (so as not to disturb other diners). After we had settled down, the same waitress came and told us to move indoor and gave us a corner seat as she's afraid it might be too hot for the baby & may have mosquitoes bitting him.

We were really grateful for the arrangement. =)

Green Mango Salad - very appetising

Crispy tofu - I love this the most, super crispy and the sauce has a unique taste. Its something like a bit of satay sauce + tom yam.

Prawn - The prawn are very fresh & crunchy

Some spicy sauce squid… very tasty too, just that is it a bit hard to chew.

Lady finger fried rice

Lime fried rice - something special, the lime taste was not too strong so you no need to worry about the rice being too sour.

Seafood Tom Yam soup - full of ingredient (seafood, veggie & some thing not suppose to be inside lol) and the spiciness taste just nice for me

As i mention there is something in my soup that not suppose to be inside which is… there are 2 flies inside my tom yam soup! -.-

We told the so called Manager about it and she apologise to us and she put the tom yam soup on the house & give us a complimentary desserts.

Although having the flies in the soup is such a spoiler, but her service is so good and she is willing to compensate us.

I think it could be their open area kitchen concept that might have attracted the flies, plus the restaurant is surrounded with quite a dense forest & maybe i just so unlucky that the flies just fly into my soup.

Our desert - Super Yummy love the rich ice cream, normally i don't eat vanilla ice cream but theirs just taste so nice and i can't stop eating.

The desert in the middle are complimentary from the manager.

Another point i would like to highlight - > While we were eating, Matthias started to be a little cranky so my bro-in-law held him to his lap while eating & the Manager saw him and offered to carry Matthias so we can have our food in peace. Excellent service indeed! But of course my sis is a bit worry about her carrying Matthias. hahaha all mothers alike.

When we were about to leave, she sincerely apologised to us again & we told her not to worry bout it =) *of coz we hope that the same thing will not happen again.

Such excellent customer service is so hard to come by nowadays.! It never fails to give the customer a pleasant experience which will keep them coming back again and again =)

Good service + good food + good ambience thus we will definitely visit again.
