121314 was my big day =)

Dear & myself chose to have a simple ROM lunch with our close relatives only.

There were many reasons why we chose to hold a ROM lunch only:

- Too many things to settle *headache*

- We unanimously agreed that staycation & Honeymoon were more important and ultimately we just want to be happy.

- Upon receiving your invitation, some may say you "Bomb" them with that expensive invitation, whereas if you don’t invite them, they will complain why wasn’t they invited. So to avoid all those contradictions we decided it would be best to have it simple as this.

I woke up at 7am to prep and have some breakfast before my Make Up Artist(MUA) arrive. My MUA came at 8.30am which was slightly later than agreed plus she had difficulty getting the hairstyle that I had requested thus causing a 1 hour delay. It also turn out to be very different from what I has wanted initially and I had to make some adjustments to it to better suit my liking. Because of this the subsequent preparation work was all in a rush.

That was not all, murphy’s law strikes again when I realised that the bridal studio had forgotten to pass me the accessories that comes with the gown. Had no choice other than to use my own earring & necklace, my MUA told me to wear my Chanel earring & necklace because Chanel matches well with most gowns.

I personally feel my MUA was not very experience and skilful but at least she was really friendly & nice.

After getting ready we quickly took cab down to the hotel. We were suppose to reach early at 11.30am to settle some stuff but we reached at 11.50am so its kinda of rush.

Once I reached I had to quickly rush to settle the check in for my hotel room. I tried to divert Dear’s attention elsewhere as I had planned a small surprise for him. =)

When we arrived at Hai Tien Lo’s function room for our ROM. Our Justice of Peace (Alex Tan) has already arrive and seated inside waiting for us to start the ceremony. Coincidentally, our JP was the same as my brother-in-laws’, he was recommended by my colleague who had recently just got married for his friendliness and that he tends to tells some jokes that lightens up the sometimes, tense atmosphere. whew.. that was a mouthful, but haha what coincidence.

Ok back to the ceremony, the solemnisation went quite well luckily i didn’t shutter when i read the vows. *Phew*

After the solemnisation, we had a quick tea ceremony and on to the long awaited lunch =)

While we were having our lunch, my sis asked me one question "where is your wedding photo & the souvenir?"

I was like “OMG” I had actually forgotten to bring it along due to the rush in the morning. Anyways theres always Facebook, so they’ll be able to see it from there later. HAHA

I love function, it looks grand and class.

We are now husband and wife.. I am Mrs Goh now =)

Got many positive feedbacks for the food from the guests =)

Pan Pacific Hotel (Hai Tien Lo), Conrad (Golden Peony) & Marina Mandarin was in our top choices.

Dear and myself went to these restaurant to do a survey somewhere in April and Hai Tien Lo really stood out with its 20 seater round auto rotating table.

Thus, Hai Tien Lo became our 1st choice as we have always love their food & the stunning view(before the relocation to the 3rd floor). They were once located on the 38th floor where the night scenery was really beautiful.

Hai Tien Lo is the most expensive among the 3 but we both think its the one we wanted.

Marina Mandrian had the most affordable & reasonable price but their function room is not very practical, 2 table in 2 separate rooms -.-.

Conrad’s pricing was in the middle and their function room was quite nice & very spacious which was really worth considering.

However the staff told us that they will email me the menu for our reference but after waiting for days & no email from them. I give up on them and just went ahead with Hai Tien Lo.

And we had definitely made the right choice with no regrets of any kind!

Great ambience with fantastic food, friendly staff and must not forget to mention, private restrooms within short walking distance =)

Bride Dress & MUA: Love Potion ($580 Package, include 1 Groom suit, 1 Bride grown, Accessories, Makeup & Hair) however, I didnt take the groom suit as Dear already custom make his own suit. Thus, they change night grown instead.
